Quick Update..

I'm sure you are all wanting lots of pictures of the new place and how it is coming along.. but sadly the camera has stayed in the case..but they say our imagination is the best photo album..so imagine with me...

A 1924 farm house in the middle of quaint farmland..now imagine someone who THOUGHT that they were a handyman..but were really not and they decided to add an addition in like 1978 when wood paneling, aluminium windows and popcorn ceilings were all the rage. Remember that 80's movie..The Money Pit?

I have not run off with the blonde orchestra conductor or the staircase has not collapsed..yet.

No really things are not all that bad, it's just that Zach and I have been on a staycation..for like the past 2 years, and sometimes reality is a little..well..real. When I asked Zach if he thought that we bit off more than we could chew he said, no he did not think so..but I'm pretty sure he said that just to make me feel better.

Now..imagine with me a place far far away from anything that you might call city, urban or overpopulated. This is where my parents now call home. A place where church potlucks still reign supreme and neighbor helps neighbor. A few weeks ago my Dad took a tumble off of his chicken house roof (he's cool like that) and at first they thought it was pretty serious but it turns out after a hospital stay and some good country air he is doing good. Because I was smack in the middle of a move I could not come see my Dad..so even though the boxes are still in the middle of the living room floor, I'm now blogging from Eastern Washington via my parents very old laptop, with a broken "v" key, but you know when you think about it you don't use the "v" key very often. (wow that was a serious run on sentence)

Lastly picture a girl and one of her bff's..a bff that moved away:( Can I just say for a minute how much I miss my Miss Elaine?? Like alot..alot..alot. When I moved back home she had moved away back to her home and now I have a very big spot in my life that seems a little less..well Miss Elaineish..and this makes me sad. BUT the up side of this whole sad little story is that she just happens to live in the same area as my parents..so this ensures many happy visits.

Soon I will be back to my regular blogging..I know you miss me:)
